Job Title: Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team at DSP PLUMBING LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong hand-eye coordination, ability to handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Repair and maintain plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layout
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for plumbing projects
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plumbing
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check required
