About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Vice President of Engineering, Platform to lead our platform engineering team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for empowering product engineering teams by providing reliable core APIs, documentation, developer experience, managed services, templates, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the platform engineering team to design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure platform solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical strategy and architecture decisions.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage multiple teams in a large-scale engineering organization.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to senior engineers and team leads.
Requirements
  • 20+ years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years as a Vice President of Engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale engineering teams and driving technical strategy.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, containerization, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalability principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate technical teams.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Clickhouse, ElasticSearch, and Temporal or other durable execution frameworks.
  • Knowledge of streaming data pipelines, Kafka, and Flink.
