Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
- Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure that we are running efficiently and effectively.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: We are looking for someone who is dependable, has excellent oral communication skills, is flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.
This role is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
