As a School Bus Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students. Your responsibilities include:
- Operating a school bus safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Utilizing industry-leading technology for route guidance and navigation
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Assisting students with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring their well-being
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers and school personnel
To be successful as a School Bus Operator, you should possess:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience
- Ability to pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks
