Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement interventions to promote optimal health outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum 1 year recent Medical/Surgical experience
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Strong patient assessment, intervention, and evaluation skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize patient care needs
  • Ability to function productively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of various programs such as Cerner, Powerchart, and Microsoft Office
