Key Responsibilities- Provide Nursing Care: Deliver nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and well-being.
- Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and efficient management of medications, narcotics, and supplies, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve shared goals.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent, and current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Skills and Qualifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, basic computer proficiency, valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, and strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, respect residents' autonomy and dignity, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
