Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, allied health practitioners, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure in British Columbia.
  • Current certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
