Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Engagement Director to join our team at YFC Highlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining programs for youth, building community partnerships, and staying connected to the youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to engage youth and build relationships with local churches, community agencies, and schools.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of volunteers to support program delivery.
  • Manage program budgets and resources to ensure effective use of funds.
  • Collaborate with staff and community partners to identify and address the needs of youth in the community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local churches and community agencies to build partnerships and support program delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. youth work, community development, education).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in youth work, community development, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising staff and volunteers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership-building.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
