About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at Laymoon Kitchen. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meats: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, and prepare standard cuts of meat for sale.
  • Meat Handling and Storage: Clean and store meats in a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations on meat products.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that meats are stocked and rotated properly.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

Laymoon Kitchen is a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Butcher, you will be working in a refrigerated environment and will be exposed to odors.
