General Merchandise Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled General Merchandise Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of merchandise.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
- Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management as needed.
- Store Maintenance
- Cover an assigned area on the sales floor.
- Zones assigned area to ensure a clean and organized environment.
- Moves feature merchandise to its modular home.
- Works recovery merchandise from the customer service desk and other areas of the store.
- Front End Coverage
- Assist with front-end coverage as needed.
- Communicate with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained.
- Teamwork and Safety
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures.
- Ensure displays and fixtures are secure.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Basic Math Skills
- Ability to Lift Up to 25 Pounds
