About the Position

We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join our team as the Director of Philanthropic Partnerships. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with major donors in Canada, securing funding to support our mission and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Donor Engagement

Establish and maintain strong relationships with major donors through regular communication, face-to-face meetings, and written updates.

Donor Identification and Solicitation

Identify and solicit potential major donors, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of our organization's mission, programs, and impact.

Donor Recognition and Stewardship

Provide timely and personalized recognition to major donors, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated for their support.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and present regular reports on donor engagement, fundraising progress, and budgetary matters to senior leadership.

Team Collaboration

Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategic plans to achieve our fundraising goals.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned fundraising professional with a passion for family ministry and a proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with major donors. You will have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field and excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising or a related field
