Position Overview: The Critical Systems Engineering - Mainframe team is seeking a skilled z/OS Security Engineer to join our ranks.

This pivotal role involves establishing strategic direction and providing oversight and governance to our service partners, including vendors responsible for the delivery of mainframe IT Infrastructure services. Collaboration with operational teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management and configuration of security profiles
  • Implementation and integration of Multi-Factor Authentication
  • Enablement and management of cryptographic services
  • Design and administration of Automated Security Services
  • Governance of change management, including assessment of planned changes for impact and timing
  • Demonstrated level-4 troubleshooting capabilities in a global mainframe environment, working with service providers to ensure effective and reliable operations
  • Ability to guide service providers in enhancing mainframe security operations and performance
  • Extensive experience managing a z/OS RACF environment
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in z/OS infrastructure. Familiarity with IT service delivery in a financial services context is highly preferred.

Strong communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent time management and organizational abilities are also required.
