About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Pizza Pizza Dundas. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, including trial balances, to management and stakeholders.
  • Accounting Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and maintain general ledgers.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and management through excellent written communication skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, and strong time management skills.
