Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Tax Scan. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare and process payroll, including calculating salaries, benefits, and taxes.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word.
