About the Role:

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Nurse to join our team at our Mt Royal Plant. As an Industrial Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees, while also contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the CNESST claims and absence management process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and communication with employees and management.
  • Provide medical support and guidance to employees, including conducting medical assessments, providing first aid and emergency care, and coordinating with external healthcare providers as needed.
  • Develop and implement health and wellness programs to promote a healthy work environment and reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care and services.
  • Provide coaching and training to employees on health and safety best practices and procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to health and safety, including emergency response plans and first aid kits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee health and safety information, including medical histories and incident reports.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Nursing (DEC) from a recognized institution.
  • Current membership in the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Nurse, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
