Job Overview

Join our team at Media Arts & Graphics Inc. as a Printing Specialist. We are seeking a dedicated individual to manage and operate our printing machinery, ensuring high-quality output and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Production Management: Advise the press team on product specifications and material needs.
  • Setup and Adjustments: Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Scheduling: Prepare and manage production schedules effectively.
  • Job Review: Analyze job orders to determine production timelines, color sequences, and required quantities.
  • Ink Management: Fill ink fountains and control color and viscosity for consistent results.
  • Cost Estimation: Provide accurate cost estimates for production runs.
  • Quality Control: Set up the press and operate at a slow speed to check samples for quality assurance.
  • Training: Instruct and mentor apprentices in press operations.
  • Monitoring: Oversee regular press runs for quality using a computer control console.
  • Maintenance: Remove and clean plates and cylinders at the end of each press run.
  • Binding and Finishing: Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Direct the press crew in setting up, operating, and shutting down the press.
