About the Role

CareerBeacon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our team in delivering integrated health and housing services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our clinic, ensuring that our mission and values are reflected in every service provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse and qualified team of staff and volunteers by providing career coaching, training, and team-building opportunities.
    • Provide leadership, management, and performance reviews to clinic project staff, including recruitment, contract signing, salary administration, and scheduling.
  • Operational Planning and Administration
    • Plan, organize, and lead the organization's operations and programs, ensuring alignment with our strategic plan.
    • Maintain current, relevant, and accurate reports on the organization's results to the Board of Directors.
    • Identify and recommend facilities, staff, and equipment needs with supporting documentation.
  • Fundraising and Financial Acumen
    • Develop, research, and implement grant and fundraising strategies to support our mission.
    • Prepare and communicate accurate and timely analysis of grants and fundraising results, variances, and performance trends.
    • Coordinate and lead budget reviews and periodic forecasts for each project area.
    • Ensure strong funding relationships with internal and external stakeholders that align with and support strategic goals.
    • Oversee financial management in accordance with accounting policies, procedures, and reporting metrics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Community Relations
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community, business, government agencies, and other stakeholders as needed, fostering collaboration and support.
    • Engage in proactive media and community outreach through various channels.
    Requirements
    • At least five (5) years of not-for-profit management or supervisory experience, ideally in the public or social welfare sector.
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Administration, Social Sciences, Social Work, Health, Planning, etc.).
    • Strong financial, operational, and administrative management skills.
    • Leadership skills with a focus on empathy, collaboration, and relationship building.
    • Ability to take initiative and move projects forward, with a creative problem-solving approach.
    • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work well under high-pressure situations.
