This specialist should be adept at interpreting high-level specifications, collaborating within small teams, and engaging in the product development lifecycle from inception to completion.


Key Responsibilities - Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist:

  • Engage in all stages of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
  • Develop Manual and Automated Test Cases based on product specifications and design.
  • Establish an automation framework from the ground up.
  • Assist in drafting Test Plans, Traceability Matrices, and other documentation to enhance QA processes.
  • Conduct Test Execution utilizing Test Management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, etc.
  • Document defects and collaborate with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Generate reports on test execution and defect status.
  • Review the contributions of QA Engineers within the team as necessary.
  • Supervise the activities of Junior QA Engineers as required.
  • Take responsibility for issues and drive them towards resolution.
  • Collaborate with the QA Manager, UI/UX designers, and technical teams to effectively validate the application.
  • Assess and analyze acceptance criteria for thoroughness.
  • Perform Regression Testing.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Operate with minimal supervision and contribute to project planning.

Essential Qualifications - Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Over 5 years of experience in software QA testing.
  • Proficient in testing websites and mobile applications across various platforms.
  • Familiarity with professional software engineering practices and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Experienced with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Test Management Tools such as Zephyr, Polarion, and other ALM systems.
  • Understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology in a CI/CD environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Automation testing tools like Selenium or Appium is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires in-office attendance. It is a full-time, permanent role.
