Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead client-facing engagement teams to execute audits, compliance tax projects, budgeting, internal controls, and financial/accounting transactions.
  2. Provide industry-specific and technical expertise in audit and assurance through client interactions, reports, technical documentation, management presentations, and high-quality deliverables.
  3. Oversee a portfolio of clients while comprehending their business, identifying key risks, and delivering added value; ensure clients' needs are met and that relationships and accounts expand and develop.
  4. Responsible for engagement planning and scheduling, as well as project financials (i.e., budgets, WIPS, timely billing, collection, variance recognition).
  5. Uphold quality control and apply specialized knowledge to foresee, identify, and address issues pertinent to the client's business, financial entries, and reports.
  6. Network within the local business community, explore business development opportunities, and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to fulfill client needs.
  7. Guide, inspire, and coach team members towards professional and personal growth by establishing clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  8. Maintain the flexibility to travel as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. CPA designation.
  2. 4 to 6 years of relevant public accounting experience.
  3. Strong grasp of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles.
  4. Demonstrated people management, relationship-building, and leadership capabilities.
