Position Overview:
As an Automotive Service Technician at Leggat Dealer Management Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our vehicles. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in automotive technology.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the service supervisor to discuss and prioritize work tasks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Evaluate motor performance during operation.
  • Perform road tests on vehicles to assess functionality.
  • Examine and test automotive systems and components for reliability.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems as needed.
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Test and calibrate repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide estimates for parts and labor costs associated with vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance services to uphold vehicle performance.
  • Test and adjust units to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Document problems and work performed in detailed reports.
Experience Required:
  • A minimum of 3 years and up to 5 years of relevant experience in automotive service.
