Network Support Specialist

Education: Completion of a college diploma or a non-university certificate program lasting between 1 to 2 years is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe systems, and associated computer workstations and peripherals.
  • Assess and deploy computer hardware, networking applications, and operating system software.
  • Deliver technical support and problem-solving assistance to network users.
  • Establish and enforce data, software, and hardware security protocols.
  • Conduct routine network startup and shutdown procedures while maintaining accurate control records.
  • Execute data backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Utilize network traffic and security monitoring tools to enhance server efficiency.
  • Modify web pages, applets, and scripts as necessary.
  • Address inquiries and provide information to website visitors and designers.
