Job Title: Maintenance Worker - Building

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker - Building to join our team at B.C. LTD.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Worker - Building will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our building facilities. This includes operating industrial vacuum cleaners, emptying trash cans, washing windows, and making adjustments to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of building facilities
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and initiative
  • Dependability and reliability
Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Worker - Building will work in an urban area, primarily in a hotel, motel, or resort setting. The position requires the ability to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding environments, and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
