Job Responsibilities

The Lead Technician role is ideal for individuals seeking seasonal employment who enjoy interacting with customers, delivering outstanding service, working outdoors, and enhancing their sales and service abilities.

This position is vital to our operations at Grill Hero. As a Lead Technician, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the barbecue industry by performing our cleaning services, enhancing the customer experience, managing your own supplies and equipment, and more.

Lead Technicians can progress into Management, Regional Management, and Office roles, which may include salary increases alongside greater responsibilities.

Key Duties

  • Cleaning barbecues at both commercial and residential sites
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Upselling products and additional services
  • Scheduling future appointments
  • Organizing and maintaining company supplies and equipment
  • Representing the company on-site
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform physical labor and operate light machinery
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Capability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail

Compensation

  • Starting at $18 + Tips + Incentives (Most earn $20-$25/hr)
  • Performance bonuses and incentives

  • Reimbursement for mileage incurred during operations in addition to hourly pay

Job Type

  • Full-time Position (Seasonal)

Requirements

  • Access to a vehicle for use during the summer (required for consideration for Team Leader roles)

Relevant experience includes general labor, landscaping, painting, roofing, maintenance, customer service, technician roles, window cleaning, construction, warehouse work, and lawn care.
