Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our fabrication and installation department, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and Manage Resources

Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and manage resources to ensure efficient use of time and materials.

Prepare and Analyze Reports

Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Recruit and Develop Team Members

Recruit and hire skilled workers, and provide training and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties.

Coordinate and Schedule Activities

Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Ensure Health and Safety

Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and healthy for all employees.

Oversee Operations

Oversee the operation of the fabrication and installation department, and make decisions to ensure that the department is running efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

5 years or more of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the metal products manufacturing industry.

Certifications

Welder Trade Certification.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
