We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. As a key member of our interprofessional healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing safe, quality patient and family-centered care.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement patient care, while promoting health and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, including physical and emotional evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
