Job Title: Training Development Officer

As a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, Training Development Officers play a critical role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of military training and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and advice on the systematic approach to training and education
  • Develop, manage, and provide training solutions
  • Teach in a variety of school settings and manage learning resources
  • Conduct human performance research and development
  • Work with subject matter experts and instructors to develop training programs

Training Development Officers work in a variety of settings, including military training establishments, schools, and headquarters. They are responsible for ensuring that training is effective, efficient, and aligned with the needs of the Canadian Armed Forces.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and implement training plans and instructional lessons
  • Conduct front-end analysis to define training requirements
  • Design and evaluate training programs
  • Integrate instructional technology into the classroom setting
  • Conduct staff professional development

As a Training Development Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including military personnel, instructors, and senior leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring that training is aligned with the needs of the Canadian Armed Forces and that it is delivered in a way that is effective and efficient.
