Position Overview
The General Support Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the safety and aesthetic upkeep of our facilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Gather lumber bands and packaging materials in the yard
- Clear debris by sweeping and raking the yard
- Ensure lumber stacks are stable in the yard
- Assist with post-sales service in the workshop and on various job sites
- Support the driver as needed
- Help with warehouse duties, including shrink-wrapping products, manual restocking, and general cleaning
- Assist the sawyer by stacking sawn lumber as directed
Qualifications
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good physical condition: able to bend, lift, and carry heavy items, work in an unheated yard and warehouse, and endure extreme weather conditions
