Position Overview

Jagpal & Bains Enterprises Inc. is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Practitioner for Companion Animals to join our team. This role is essential in providing top-notch care for our furry patients.

Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in veterinary medicine, dentistry, or optometry.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary setting is an asset.
Work Environment

The position is based in a veterinary clinic, where you will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the health and well-being of animals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose diseases or abnormal conditions in animals.
  • Administer treatment to sick or injured animals, including prescribing medication and performing surgeries.
  • Implement vaccination programs to prevent and manage diseases.
  • Provide expert advice to clients regarding animal care, including feeding, housing, and hygiene.
  • Perform routine and emergency examinations, as well as post-mortem assessments.
  • Oversee the operation of the animal hospital or clinic, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor animal health technologists and care staff.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Certification from the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.
  • Licensure by relevant provincial or territorial authorities.
