Chief Executive Officer

ResearchNB is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive the strategic direction of the organization. As Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan, aligning with the ResearchNB mandate and priorities.
  • Lead the development of partnerships with academic institutions, industry leaders, government agencies, and other stakeholders to advance the research ecosystem.
  • Represent ResearchNB at regional, national, and international forums, promoting the organization's initiatives and achievements.
  • Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors on strategic initiatives, organizational performance, and financial status.
  • Report quarterly on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the Board of Directors and the Department of Post-Secondary Education & Labor.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., PhD, MBA, or equivalent) with a strong background in scientific research and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of the research and innovation ecosystem, including knowledge of funding mechanisms, policy frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, including both oral and written communication, is required. Proficiency in French is a desirable asset.
