Oversee the Corporate Strategy function for CanaDream Corporation's operations across North America.
Collaborate with Canadian and US Leadership Teams, Branch and Station Managers, Retail Managers, Global People Leadership teams, Global Group Executives, and Business Leaders from various regions, along with external partners including payroll systems, legal advisors, and health and safety consultants.
A degree in business with a focus on Human Resources or a related discipline is essential.A comprehensive understanding of HR compliance regulations across Canadian provinces and territories, as well as California and broader US frameworks, is crucial.
In-depth knowledge and experience in managing employee benefit programs, particularly in the US context, are required.Proven experience in the effective implementation and utilization of payroll and HRIS systems, such as DayForce, is necessary.
Significant expertise in fostering inclusive and respectful workplace environments, including the development and execution of supportive policies and training programs.
Proficiency in French is advantageous.
A high level of verbal and written communication skills in Spanish is mandatory.
Establish and implement standardized practices in recruitment, onboarding, retention, training, performance management, and productivity enhancement.
Ensure compliance with specific legislative frameworks in Canadian provinces and US states, while monitoring and adapting to changes in federal and state/provincial regulations.
Focus on crew development by leading and coordinating training initiatives for leaders and staff, covering Health, Safety, Wellbeing, technical skills, and interpersonal skills.
Support the design and execution of global and North American cultural capability programs.Engage in the development and execution of frameworks that promote inclusion and diversity within the organization.
Demonstrate Emotional Intelligence, which includes the ability to recognize, understand, and manage personal emotions, as well as the capacity to influence the emotions of others.
