Classic LifeCare - Prince George, BC is seeking a skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse, you will provide expert wound care to our clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine footcare treatments, including nail trimming, callus reduction, and treatment of minor foot ailments in clients' homes with best practice standards.
- Foot care tools and autoclaving services are provided if needed.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
Requirements:
- Current LPN/RN/RPN license in British Columbia.
- Must hold a Certificate of Completion of a recognized foot care course.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Completion of Criminal Record Check.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation within the Prince George Area.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, clients' family members, and relevant organizations to meet clients' best interests and goals.
- Great technical skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of client care documentation using our online systems.
