About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team at NPC/Sandman Hotel Group. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating and developing engineering designs and drawings, working closely with our team to bring projects to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and develop engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design software
  • Collaborate with engineers and production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring high-quality output
  • Estimate costs and materials, preparing construction specifications and documentation packages
  • Write technical reports and specifications, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD, with experience in computer-aided design software
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills, with a focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
