About the Role

Lorelei Penaranda is seeking a reliable and experienced live-in caregiver to provide top-notch care for our children. As a key member of our household team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for our kids.

Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform daily light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized living space.
  • Errands and Shopping: Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring our pantry and cupboards are always stocked.
  • Travel and Child Supervision: Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Clothing and Linen Care: Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep our wardrobe and home looking their best.
  • Pet Care: Care for our pets, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the attention they deserve.
  • Discipline and Guidance: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development.
  • Personal Hygiene and Social Development: Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, ensuring our children's well-being is always the top priority.
  • Activities and Entertainment: Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting socialization and fun.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring our children receive the fuel they need to thrive.
  • Transportation and Appointments: Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring they arrive on time and are well cared for.
  • Emotional Well-being: Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a listening ear and a comforting presence.
  • Academic Support: Help children with homework, providing guidance and support to ensure they excel academically.
  • Cooking: Cook meals for the family, using your culinary skills to create delicious and nutritious dishes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Equivalent Experience: Equivalent experience in a related field.
Work Environment
  • Non-Smoking: Our home is a non-smoking environment.
Work Setting
  • Employer's Home: This is a live-in position, requiring you to reside in our home.
Security and Safety
  • Reference Required: A reference is required for this position.
Transportation/Travel Information
  • Willing to Travel: You must be willing to travel with the family on trips.
