Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced project manager to lead our civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Delegate and supervise the execution of technical project tasks, including site visits and coordination with contractors
  • Monitor client relationships, budgets, schedules, and invoicing
  • Act as a technical resource during project execution, working closely with site personnel and contractors
  • Prepare project proposals and bids
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop projects
  • Prepare technical plans and specifications for projects, in accordance with established standards
  • Develop and recommend the best solution for clients based on their goals and objectives
  • Verify project plans and specifications
  • Manage bid processes
  • Coordinate post-construction project activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Member in good standing of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (minimum 10 years)
  • Strong experience in project management
  • Fluency in French
  • Valid driver's license
  • ASP Construction card
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary projects
  • Coaching and team leadership experience
  • Attention to detail in project design and follow-up
  • Knowledge of MS Project
  • Experience with Quebec Ministry of Transportation projects
  • Knowledge of Quebec Ministry of Transportation standards and documents
