Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Flame Artist, Sr. to join our team at Company 3 / Method Studios. As a key member of our VFX department, you will work closely with our Flame Supervisor and VFX Producer to deliver high-quality visual effects and finishing services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with offline editors to prepare initial conforms and manage media for archiving
  • Organize and maintain efficient media management on our Flame systems
  • Meet tight deadlines and production schedules while adhering to high creative and technical standards
  • Perform QC and mastering tasks

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of timelines, conforming, and mastering deliverables
  • Strong compositing, color, design, and film industry knowledge
  • File format and compression expertise
  • Expertise in cleanup, beauty work, element integration, and matte painting
  • Comfortable working in client-attended bays and developing creative solutions
  • Experience with bluescreen and greenscreen extraction techniques
  • Comprehensive knowledge of VFX and finishing in Flame
  • Nuke experience is an asset
  • Tracking software knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work within project targets and company standards
  • Pro-active and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure
