About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Visionary: Act as a change leader and influencer, shaping the company's marketing strategy and agenda, driving both immediate and long-term results.
  • Market Insights and Innovation: Utilize consumer and market insights, along with innovation and portfolio strategies, to enhance brand demand and market share, guiding the planning cycle and influencing strategic planning and execution.
  • Brand Communication: Lead agency partners in developing impactful consumer communication strategies that enhance brand health and consumer engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, working closely with leaders and the customer sales organization to drive business growth and share valuable insights.
  • External Partnerships: Oversee relationships with external partners, including Social Media agencies, Packaging and PR suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Product Development: Develop new products by capitalizing on market opportunities to fuel brand growth while sustaining profitability of the existing product line.
  • Marketing Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget for the portfolio, ensuring effective execution of approved plans, optimizing ROI, and making tradeoffs to support brand growth.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate internal teams, cross-functional collaborators, and external partners to champion marketing initiatives.
  • Sponsorship and Partnerships: Collaborate closely with the Sponsorship Team to enhance brand equity and boost sales through key programming, including partnerships with various entities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Commerce/Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, ideally at the Brand Manager or Category Manager level within the CPG industry, including significant experience in advertising and market research.
  • Skills: Extensive experience with Nielsen data and analysis, strategic thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong business judgment.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to build and nurture relationships, foster consensus, influence business partners, mentor and develop talent, and achieve success through excellent consumer marketing.
