About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at BNV Diesel Services Inc. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and inspect heavy equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, ensuring that our fleet is running efficiently and effectively.

Diagnose and Repair Faults

The successful candidate will have the skills to diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.

Perform Maintenance and Repairs

Our Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts, ensuring that all work meets manufacturers' specifications.

Test and Inspect Repaired Equipment

The candidate will test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that all work meets manufacturers' specifications.

Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment

Our ideal candidate will also be responsible for cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically Demanding Work

The role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and equipment.

Work Term and Hours

The successful candidate will work on a permanent basis, with a typical workweek of 30 to 35 hours.
