Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Stars for Life Childcare Education Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our childcare centre. This includes assisting co-workers with housekeeping and cooking duties, supporting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote children's development, and engaging children in activities that promote their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist co-workers in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Support early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that meet the needs of children
  • Engage children in activities that promote their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and community service providers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
