Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to lead our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives in multiple dealerships. As the Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HSE programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
  • Lead and manage HSE risk across the region.
  • Monitor HSE effectiveness and report on organizational performance.
  • Mentor and coach team members to positively impact the safety culture.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Certificate / Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least five (5) years in a Health, Safety, and Environmental position.
  • Able to travel to various branches regularly.
  • Previous experience with the automotive / Heavy truck industry is an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Safety management software titles.
  • Above average communication skills both verbally and written.
