We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent role position.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and analyze incoming documents to determine their significance and distribute them accordingly
- Answer and direct phone calls or take messages for relevant parties
- Coordinate invoice routing and monitor payments to vendors
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, to input and manage financial data
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a receptionist or office administrator role
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping position
- Experience with payroll processing considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative procedures
