Job Title: Executive Director of Hockey Operations

Canucks Sports & Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Hockey Operations to lead the business operations of the Abbotsford Canucks AHL club and the Abbotsford Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and revenue for the Abbotsford Canucks and Abbotsford Centre.
  • Oversee all aspects of arena operations, including event management, marketing, and sales.
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive fan engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Canucks Sports & Entertainment Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute integrated initiatives that promote the ultimate hockey fan and concert-goer experience.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the financial health of the business.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary university education in a related field of study.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of directly related experience in hockey operations, arena management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT, and numerical abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
