Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at OK Tire and Auto Service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Adjust and Repair Parts and Components: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including engine repair, diagnostics, and alignment.
  • Provide Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A valid driver's licence and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field of employment.
  • Certifications: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, dusty, dirty, and noisy.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
