Job Title: Registered Dental Technician

Vetech Dental Laboratories Ltd. is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dental Technician to design, modify, and create dental devices, including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps, and bands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental technology and excellent technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and modify dental devices to meet the needs of our clients
  • Prepare plaster models and moulds for dental devices
  • Train other dental technicians in our laboratory
  • Perform administrative functions, including ordering supplies and managing inventory
  • Supervise students in training and ensure they meet the required standards
  • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays for dental devices
  • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
  • Polish and buff dentures to a high shine
Requirements:
  • Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • Experience in a commercial dental laboratory, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent technical skills, including plastering, packing, waxing-up, casting, polishing, and assembly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
