Job Summary:The University of British Columbia Department of Radiology and TRIUMF Life Sciences Division are seeking a talented postdoctoral fellow to join a dynamic team to develop radiopharmaceuticals using emerging radioisotopes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the exciting field of targeted radionuclide therapy.
Responsibilities:- Develop a novel Ac-225 based radiopharmaceutical, including preparing preclinical study protocols and carrying out bio-distribution, toxicity, and therapy monitoring studies.
- Represent the project at conference symposia and publish study data in the peer-reviewed literature.
Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or equivalent field of research. Intimate knowledge and hands-on experience with cell culture, tumour inoculation, and rodent care are required. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential.
