MealSuite is a privately owned Software as a Service (SaaS) organization that provides end-to-end foodservice technology solutions to professionals across healthcare and aging services. Our mission is to deliver smiles and satisfaction to the continuum of care through an all-in-one foodservice management technology.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer to join our engineering team. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining web and mobile applications. You will work alongside a team of exceptional developers to deliver world-class software.
Key Responsibilities- Application Development: Create, test, and maintain web and mobile applications using front-end technologies.
- Project Collaboration: Contribute to project specification and requirement gathering phases.
- UI/UX Design: Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs.
- Component Development: Build reusable components for future use.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Write and run unit tests prior to release.
- Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with back-end developers on integration and usability of the application.
- Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile Scrum Squads using Jira.
- Software Development Knowledge: Strong knowledge of software development with a focus on front-end technologies.
- Education and Experience: Gained knowledge through a degree in Computer Science, 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, or a combination of both.
- Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of JavaScript/Typescript, React or Angular, REST APIs, and HTML/CSS.
- Environment: Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Travel: Willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA.
