Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in our Interdisciplinary Team, working under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and Team Leader to deliver high-quality nursing care to our residents. As an LPN, you will carry out duties as directed by the RN and Clinical Leader, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and performing various nursing tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Work a 24-hour shift rotation on any program area, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Attend work regularly and consistently, adhering to our high standards of attendance and punctuality.

Salary Range

In accordance with the Collective Agreement between Ocean View Manor and Ocean View Manor Local of the Nova Scotia Nurse's Union.
