Position Overview

As a Culinary Support Staff member at FAT BASTARD BURRITO, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks that ensure our food service operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months is preferred.
  • Dish Management: Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables appropriately.
  • Linen Handling: Carry and replace linen as needed to maintain cleanliness.
  • Sanitation Duties: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a tidy dining area.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware efficiently.
  • Storage Management: Place dishes in designated storage areas and replenish condiments and supplies at tables.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items while ensuring proper hygiene standards.
  • Cleaning Tasks: Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly to maintain a clean workspace.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold cleanliness.
  • Vegetable and Fruit Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position requiring approximately 35 hours per week. The primary language of work will be English.
