Job Title: Platform Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Security Specialist to join our team at ION Group. As a key member of our Platform Security Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our platform and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement threat models to identify vulnerabilities in our platform and infrastructure design
  • Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate risks
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory standards that impact our products and services
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement secure control solutions
  • Produce threat intelligence briefings and other work products to share information across the organization
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, BASH, or PowerShell
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters, situations, and data
  • Comprehension of technical language and ability to confer, analyze, and write in an objective, lucid manner
