Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Stigg Security Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security and customer service, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients and guests with special needs, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Conduct investigations to locate missing persons, using effective communication and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
  • Perform security checks of passengers and luggage, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments, using surveillance equipment and other tools to identify and apprehend suspects.
  • Produce reports on security incidents and investigations, providing detailed information and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with colleagues and management to maintain a safe and secure environment, responding to emergencies and incidents as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a security-related role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Working Conditions

The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent interactions with customers and colleagues. The role requires the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
