We are seeking a skilled Junior Baker to join our team at True Grain Bread Ltd. As a Junior Baker, you will be responsible for preparing dough for various baked goods, operating machinery, and ensuring the quality of our products meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Operate machinery
- Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
- Food safety/handling skills
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
- Food Safety Certificate
- Valid driver's licence
- Attention to detail
- Fast-paced environment
- Handling heavy loads
- Manual dexterity
